Mountain Goat Close-up
This photograph was taken from a mere 6 feet away using a 50mm Zeiss lens on my 35mm Contax RTS body. Photographed at 7,000 feet in the ruins of the historic Mascot Mine some 5,000 feet above the town of Hedley, BC, these goats rarely see humans and regard photographers like myself with more indifference than fear. This is a female in full winter coat.
